In the year that celebrates ten years of existence, MEXE will once again gather citizens, artists and structures in ten days of programming that intend to trigger spaces of confluence of the artistic creation that contaminates and is contaminated by social and political realities. In its sixth edition, the event proposes a reflection around “O Risco” and, besides Oporto, it will have extensions to other cities in the country. It is already open the period for the presentation of proposals for projects in different formats that may integrate the programme for 2021. The open call will remain open until next 4th December and projects integrating different artistic areas such as Theatre, Dance, Music, Circus Arts, Performance, Painting, Sculpture, Video, Photography, New Media, Installation, Design, Architecture, among others, may apply. Taking place between 17 and 26 September 2021, MEXE will once again present a programme oriented on four fundamental axes: Presentation, Thought, Training and Documentation.
