Laboratory of Impossible Risks is a workshop of disciplinary intersection between performance, visual arts and music at Fontainhas.
The workshop will be guided by visual artist Cecília de Fátima, visual artist Daniela Lino and musicians Los Sara Fontan. The invited artists will dialogue with a professional risk assessor, and together they will make a survey of the “impossible” risks in Fontainhas.
These risks will be translated into drawings, which will be interpreted as musical scores by the musicians Los Sara Fontán (Edi Pou and Sara Fontán). The workshop participants will be the musicians of this improvisation-based orchestra.
We propose a creative re-appropriation of the dystopian and domineering discourse on risk with the aim of liberating individual and collective dynamics in the occupation of public space.
