Falling without a net. Free-falling without expectations of seeing the ground on which to land. Narratives in a pandemic time, confusing and unpredictable, where fragility has intensified and new fissures have opened. CAIR approaches the precariousness of real people by trying to let their stories speak and not falling into the temptation of talking about them. The partnership of the European Anti Poverty Network and the MEXE Association gave rise to a process supported by the Local Citizens’ Councils of the district nuclei of the Northern region of EAPN Portugal (Aveiro, Braga, Bragança, Porto, Viana do Castelo and Vila Real). The construction process was based on the “Chronicles – texts lived in times of pandemic crisis” (2020) and the development of discussion forums that allowed the design of the script of this short film. CAIR tells us how we can hold on to ourselves, even if in free-fall.
