Community arts can change lives. Through the eyes of five women, the theater group Women Connected is introduced. While the collective was working hard for a sold-out premiere in one of Rotterdam’s biggest theaters, the film gives us the chance to meet Aïda, Jacqueline, Sara, Charahzad and Shamin. These women take us on a roller coaster ride of emotions as they share excerpts from their life stories. Despite their different cultures, they share similar experiences – like escaping from war. Slowly they realize that they have found a new home sharing the stage and being part of the Women Connected collective.
